My visit with my parents started off well but Tuesday morning our visit was cut short thanks to my dad not feeling well at all. My parents were able to get home okay-but my mother took him to the ER and he’s in the hospital. It’s his gallbladder-he needs it out.
I’ll post more info later. That’s all I really know at at the moment.

Oh dear, I hope your Dad is doing okay. I hear that gallbladder attacks can be quite nasty things.
Sorry to hear your visit got cut short but I’m glad your folks made it back safe to New York.
Also, not sure why I am logged in here now with my WordPress ID rather than my Blogger ID. I only use my WordPress blog as a back-up so that’s very , very odd!

Oh and so now I’m logged in with my regular Blogger ID – how strange! Disregard that last statement in my other comment!

Gallbladder attacks are very painful but having them out is a pretty routine surgery. Rarely are there ever complications. I hope your dad is feeling better soon. I have said a prayer for him.

I’m so sorry your dad’s sick! Hope they get the gall bladder out soon so that he can start recovering. My sister-in-law had to have hers taken out several years ago. She turned out fine, although I remember she was afraid to laugh because of the stitches at first.
Keep us posted, I wish him a quick operation and recovery!

Ouch! Poor Dad! Hope he feels better soon. And poor Silver. Your life has been so tumultuous lately. Hopefully you have cleverly gotten all the tough stuff out of the way at once so you will have a thoroughly enjoyable fall and winter.
