Hey guys, I have a small favor to ask of you…as you recall recently I have shifted my reviews over to a brand new home (The Quarter-Life Reviews) in order to be a little…uh, organization into my life. So far I have close to 60 reviews-both past and present-and very few visitors. And, if I can believe WordPress-not one of those visitors came from a Google search.
In the past, when I would host the reviews right here on this blog I would get a good number of hits for books, music, movies, etc. that I reviewed. I’m not getting that at the other site, and I’m led to believe that that’s due to the small amount of links leading to The Quarter-Life Reviews.
So, if you would be kind enough to include my new blog into your blogroll I would greatly appreciate it and will be quick to reciprocate the favor. Also, if anyone has any suggestions for me as to how I might increase my readership on my other blog I would love to hear them.
Thanks!

I’ll certainly add your review blog to my blogroll…. and I’ll try to pimp you out a bit too.

Consider it done on both blogs

A tip if I may…I’ve shifted bloggy-homes a few times, with the last one being a few months back to my own domain. I’ve faced the same problem but this last time a friend suggested that I mail everyone I knew who was reading my blog, letting them know about the switch. I also included a link to subscribe to my new feed. A lot more of my readers migrated to reading though a good number of them still have to update their blogrolls.
I find the best way to boost readership is consistent good content and also to build relationships with other blogs by reading them and frequently commenting. Most bloggers are good enough to pay a return visit and if they like what they see, they stay.
All the best!

Oh. I tried to read more of the page, but every time my cursor passed over a link, a popup came up and blocked part of the screen. Your main page does not have this problem. Is there any way to disable it, at least on my end? It makes pages harder to read (I’m used to getting new material popping up when i ask for it, and these popups tend to suddenly cover a part of the screen I am reading)

I added your Review blog to my blogroll. The only thing I can think of to get more traffic is to list it in some blog directories like Blog Catalog and My Blog Log.

WordPress won’t let me open my blof — OR OC’s, or Kat’s or Brian’s. I am a bit shocked that I am here right now!
