Reviews and Meme’s

I got quite a few new reviews up at The Quarter-Life Reviews, I reviewed “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, “A Farewell to Arms”, and “The Know it All”; I highly recommend checking them out-both the reviews and the books. Next up for reviews: “Into the Wild” by Jon Krakauer and “Possible Side Effects” by Augusten Burroughs.
The first meme I’m participated in today is That’s My Answer! Today’s question asks: “What’s so great about Mondays?” For me, that’s pretty easy. Monday is my Friday! After Monday I (usually) get to enjoy three days of peace and quiet away from the workplace.
The next meme is Monday’s a Bitch. This meme asks five questions which helps alleviate the ill feelings that most have for Monday’s.
1. What’s your favourite brand of cracker?
Plain ol’ Saltines.
2. Do you like crackers in your soup?
Sometimes.
3. What’s the best kind of cheese to put on a cracker? Or do you have a different favourite cracker topper?
Pretty much anything but American (too boring). I kind of like the cheese that has hot peppers in it though. Don’t know what it’s called, but my dad loves it.
4. Have you ever set off firecrackers? For what occasion?
No, they scare me. My mother’s a nurse, she’s got enough horror stories about them to give you nightmares.
5. Have you ever seen The Nutcracker ballet?
Yes, twice. The first time I saw it, I loved it. The second year I got depressed seeing all the anorexic girls.

Ya know, I’m gonna have to jump on this meme bandwagon. I’m missing one for Monday (the only one, I think…nope, Saturday, too…).

I read A Farewell To Arms many years ago. Although I love the movie “Cuckoo’s Nest” I’ve never read the book!
