Like most bloggers I know I have a habit of checking on my blog stats-namely, what search terms bring people to my blog.
For awhile I has A LOT of visitors looking for pugs. Now, I don’t have a pug-but I do love them and I DID write a review on a book called “Pug Hill” by Alison Pace. Along with this review, I also get a fair amount of inquires about the book “Invisible Man” and “The Lottery“. Of all the books I have read and reviewed on this blog-these three are the most popular ones.
Then there’s music. Obviously I talk about Silverchair a lot. If I attempted to make a list of all the entries I have penned since the birth of this blog…it would roughly take several hours. So it’s not surprising that I have gotten A LOT of hits regarding various topics on Silverchair-whether it’s on lyrics, concert experiences and the sad breakup between lead singer and his ex-wife Natalie Imbruglia-I get a lot of hits related to that. Surprisingly, aside from Silverchair, the second largest music related search term(s) are Paul Mac related. I did happen to write a review on one of his albums-3000 Feet High-but based on the fact that aside from some Silverchair fans-not many people outside of Australia are familiar with him and his music. But nonetheless, my blog seems to be the place to go for Paul Mac lyrics and questions such as “Why doesn’t Paul Mac sing on his albums?” Who ever asked that-I don’t know but I will venture a guess it’s because he’s afraid that his head will explode.
From the more personal entries I’ve written…I get hits about blurry vision, weight loss techniques, Quarter Life (which is a television show I have discovered) and various college searches. To date, my most disturbing search term has been sex kids. For the most part however, I haven’t had too many strange searches.

You really wouldn’t want to know the vast range of perverse search terms that bring people to my blog. It makes me giggle and sometimes shudder.

I, like Rambler, also get very weird search terms. Some are funny, some are gross, and some creep me out (like my name plus the word “naked” after it).
Zoiks!
